A mixed bag of musings from a freelance artist who wants to save the human race and build a better generation of free thinkers. I work with all ages and in all capacities of art. I am a sensei to some and a grasshopper to life.

The sniffles
This is the time in the process when all the work is done and the body is hard bent on getting sick. Long bath. Hot tea. Snuggle buddies. Warm bed. This, too, shall pass.

Put me in, Coach.
The art of art. Crafting a lighting, scenic and costume design out of thin air while organizing a sound design and directing. I love it. What I would give for this to be my profession again.

A foodforall morning
Bought a publix sub on the way to work and gave it to a homeless man at Hillsborough and Nebraska which prompted me to go to Cafe Hey for a Rebel Rebel.
I think everyone won today.

The best lame night I've had in years
This year I wasn't in the mood to be on the road on New Years Eve. And I also wanted to pass the new year doing things representative of how I want to spend the new year. So the hidden cameras in my house tonight saw me finally knitting the scarf I chose for me, doing my dishes, watching The King's Speech, loving my dogs, opening and beginning to fill in my ME book, unloading some very heavy furniture out of my van, rearranging my house, vacuuming, sheltering scared puppies from the fireworks, laundry, and picking up my blogging habits once more. Tomorrow I have a swim date at noon. With me luck that I can start and continue to year off as good as I spent the final day of 2014. Here's to personal goals!
