I find that I no longer can enjoy a show based on the "trying hard"ness of those involved.
It only feeds the complacency of this artistic community to enjoy something less than good and call it art.
That is not to say that I don't respect those that pour their heart and soul into a process. I have the utmost respect for those who commit so fully but if it is not done well and done well consistently we will continue to be a circle and not a spiral of evolution.
